Humpback whale
French Polynesia is an important breeding site for humpback whales and also a beautiful place for watching them. This particular whale was hand-carved in oceanic walnut on Ua Huka Island. It's adorned with the Marquesan ancestral motifs for protection. Size: 25 cm
