Tikis from the Marquesan islands are among the most iconic objects of Oceanic art. Tiki Kuhane means the spirit of a Tiki - when translated from the Marquesan language. This Tiki was hand carved in oceanic rosewood (mio tree) on Nuku Hiva Island. Signed by the Marquesan carver.
