Tiki earrings
A pair of Tiki earrings carved in cattle bone from Nuku Hiva Island. The cap is made of oceanic rosewood and the "ring" on the bottom piece is made of oceanic hibiscus tree.
In the Marquesan culture, Tiki represents “etua” (god) deified ancestors whose supernatural powers sustain and protect the community. Tiki earrings are worn as a good luck charm.
Size: 5 cm
The earrings come in pairs.
