Tiki earrings
A pair of Tiki earrings carved in cattle bone and mahogany from Nuku Hiva Island. In the Marquesan culture, Tiki represents “etua” (god) deified ancestors whose supernatural powers sustain and protect the community. Tiki earrings are worn as a good luck charm.
