Totoko poko enana (Walking stick)
Marquesan hand-carved walking stick, adorned with three Tiki heads and a crowned skull – carved in oceanic rosewood. Tiki is the fundamental design element in Marquesan culture. Tiki represents etua (god) deified ancestors whose supernatural powers sustain and protect the community. The crowned skull is the representation of death and mortality and it serves as a warning to what becomes of a body that wishes evil upon the owner of the Marquesan walking stick and his protector – Tiki.
Whether you decide to use this unique work of art for walking or to decorate your home, we hope it protects you against all dangerous threats.
