A hand-carved marlin rostrum. A handle is made from cow bone and attached with a coconut sennet cordage. The pedestal is made of oceanic walnut. The nostrum contains natural wear that occurred while the marlin was alive and used to "spear" other fish. This beautiful piece is a perfect blend of traditional symbols and natural materials.
