Tapa - Marquesan dancer
Fatu Hiva Island is the most isolated of the Marquesas Islands, and the home of tapa, the cloth laboriously made from the beaten bark of the tree. This tapa was made from the bark of the mulberry tree (ute - broussoneta papyrifera), featuring a Marquesan dancer.
