Kee toki (Stone adze)
Kee toki is the original name of the Marquesan adze that was an essential tool for carving canoes, and other wooden objects around the Marquesas in the past.
This stunning piece was handcrafted on Nuku Hiva Island. The stone blade is attached to the oceanic rosewood handle using a natural coconut sennet cordage.
