This elegant wooden necklace is adorned with the Marquesan ancestral motif of a manta ray. In the Marquesan culture, the manta ray symbolizes wisdom and is considered people's protective animal. The necklace was hand-carved in oceanic rosewood on Nuku Hiva Island. Size: 5cm x 5cm
