U'u (Marquesan war club)
U'u (war club) served as a weapon throughout Marquesan history. It was used to break the head of an enemy, and it was every warrior's most prized possession. This u'u is of a traditional kind. It was carved on Nuku Hiva island in oceanic rosewood.
